We as students, spend seven to eight hours a day at school filling our minds with information that will “later help us in life” and are then expected to go home and do another three to six hours of homework. The only times we get away from the stress of the overload of work is on our vacation breaks.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, Summer.

Texas requires a minimum of 180 education days per year. That’s the equivalent of going to school for six months straight.

Six months sitting in a desk.

Six months filled with tear-stained worksheets.

Plenty of time to get work done that isn’t during a break.
